Getting set up

Install it
Press the button above. Android will warn you that your browser is not allowed to install apps from outside the Play Store — tap Settings on that prompt, allow it, then come back and tap Install.
Join the truck's Wi-Fi
Look for HookliftAP in your Wi-Fi list. The app talks straight to the truck, so you need to be close enough to pick up its hotspot.
Open the app
It finds the truck on its own. If it cannot, it says so and offers to open your Wi-Fi list for you.

Why use the app instead of a browser

Nothing to type. No address to remember, and no address bar to catch a thumb mid-job.
The screen stays on. It will not dim or lock while the panel is open.
Your truck and nothing else. The app loads your truck's panel and refuses every other address.
It sorts itself out. Step out of range and back and it reconnects without being restarted.

Away from the truck? This app runs over the truck's own Wi-Fi, so it only works when you are beside it. To check on your trucks from anywhere, sign in to the fleet viewport.

Early version. This is the live panel, not a preview, so every control does what it normally does. Treat it exactly as you would the tablet in the cab.
